    • Going to Summer Camp – Do you know how you are getting there and back?  Be sure to plan your transportation and notify your SPL so that he may keep track.
    • 2 Troop meetings in July (July 1st and July 22nd).
    • Do we have your health forms for summer camp?

Troop 33 Summer Camp

 

We have 17 Scouts going in two groups to Cedarlands this year.  12 Scouts will be staying in base camp to work on merit badges, and 5 Scouts will be headed out on a 50 mile trek to earn the 50 Miler Award. 

 

Arrival:  12:00 Noon Sunday July 5th at Cedarlands’ New Scout Lodge.  Those wanting to travel as a group, we will be leaving the Legion Hall at 9:00 AM. Please arrange your own transportation to and from camp prior to the day we leave for camp. A bag lunch is encouraged for Sunday’s arrival at camp.  Also, pick your tent buddies before we arrive at camp. This makes less confusion when we set up our “home-sweet-home”. 

 

Departure:  between 10:00 AM and 12:00 Saturday July 11th from Cedarlands.  Please note: parents and family may assist with bringing gear from the camp site to the parking lot.  Many hands make light work.  We may not leave until the camp councilor has inspected our site and approved our departure.  Scouts are responsible to load the Troop Trailer with all Troop gear prior to departing for home.

See Mr. Buck for a Blue Card.  Any parent or Scout or ASM that would like to participate (or is willing to be part of the sag wagon crew) in any of these is welcome.
